At times it felt like the last few details would never end as they went on and on… and on! There’s a reason why so many Island buildings and homes have just a few unfinished details. “They suck the life out of you!” Just when you think you’re done and there’s not one more thing left to do, you look around and you see, “Oh ya, still those last few sticks of trim around there and the eaves aren’t on yet.” Groan. I can happily say – with a big sigh! – that every last thing is done. Everything! Well, I do still have the eaves on the back side to do but I’ll get that done tomorrow. 😉 But honestly, I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to take the time to finish everything completely before getting back to creating. This is a truly inspiring space!
I’ve got my shop set up now and I’m ready to start new projects. It’s a wonderful moment setting up my workbench in a brand new space. There is so much light in this new studio with 5 skylights and my workbench has an inspiring view of the trees and a glimpse of the ocean. It’s a new beginning and I’m enjoying the anticipation of what comes next as new projects take shape in my imagination.
I’m having a celebration – Studio Grand Opening – 2 weeks from now, on Saturday, July 13th from 4 pm – 9 pm. Please join us if you’re in the neighbourhood.

Its a beautiful looking studio, Richard. Hope to see it today, time permitting.
Thanks for your comment, Bill. Great to see you at the Opening! cheers, Richard
